Happy Hounds Crochet Along - Pug

Updated: Apr 21, 2021

Here is the second dog breed of the happy hounds crochet along! Enjoy!

The next breed has a squished up little face and a whole lot of character! I tried to get that through in the design of these squares. The pug was originally bred as a companion dog in ancient china and they still hold up to that job today. Pugs are incredibly popular, although being a brachycephalic breed, meaning they have squished skulls, they can suffer from a number of related health issues. I decided to just design graphs for the 2 most popular pug colours, so this week there is also our first bonus square.

There are 3 different graphs for this week:

To get to the graph you would like to make just click on the colour above, you'll be taken to my Esty shop where you can purchase the graph.

You can also purchase a bundle of both pugs here

I love how the wrinkles somehow manage to come through in the crochet! This little dude looks so adorable!

And the paw prints are pretty cute too!

Click here to head to the Thoughts From a Doe Crochet Along Facebook Group to share your progress and join our little community! All of the files will be uploaded into the Facebook group too!

You can purchase a tutorial walking you through how to complete the mini corner to corner stitch, each of the graph and instructions for the joining and how to do the candy cane border too! This is available on Etsy and Ravelry

You can also purchase the complete bundle of over 30 graphs featuring 10 different dog breeds! This is available on Esty and Ravelry
